North Indian IT City

An IT hub is going to come up over a 40-acre land in Nadarganj industrial area off Lucknow-Kanpur highway. The UP government on Saturday announced that the blueprint for setting up the facility has already been prepared by UP rajkiya nirman nigam (UPRNN)

The hub will be divided into three parts - IT park, business park, and international incubation facility centre. A government spokesperson added that the integrated facility being planned in the state capital is going to be the largest in the country.
Earlier, the Yogi Adityanath government had committed to shape up Lucknow as the artificial intelligence city of the country and the upcoming IT hub is a step forward in that direction, said a senior officer from the state's IT department, who added that the incubation centre will also focus on training college students and engineering graduates in the latest AI technologies.

Ekana Cricket Stadium,is an international cricket stadium in Lucknow, India. The arena has a seating capacity of 50,000, thus it is the fifth largest international cricket stadium of India

In 2018, the stadium renamed to the current name by Uttar Pradesh government in honour of former 10th Prime Minister of the nation Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It was formerly named as Ekana cricket stadium. However locals prefer to adress it with former name

The stadium has the longest straight boundaries in comparison to all the stadiums in India. It is the home ground of Uttar Pradesh cricket team, UP women's cricket team and IPL franchise the Lucknow Super Giants

In 2019, the Afghanistan cricket team used it as their home ground.[7] K.D. Singh Babu stadium use to host international cricket matches in Lucknow before the venue was built.

Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences

The institute is located on 550 acres (2.2 km2) residential campus on Raebareli Road. The institute offers degrees recognized by the Medical Council of India. It provides tertiary-level medical care, teaching, training, and research for specialties. Degrees at the DM, MCh, MD, and Ph.D. levels are offered, along with postdoctoral fellowships and postdoctoral certificate courses in various disciplines. Offers training programs for senior residents. The College of Medical Technology offers B.Sc. courses in nursing and BSc/MSc courses in paramedical technology in allied sciences. The institute is an autonomous institution. The institute functions as a state college is a member of the Association of Indian Universities, and is recognized by the College Grants Commission.

The institute employs over 250 faculty members across 32 departments. Each department consists of teaching, training, patient care, and research. The Director is Professor R.K. Dhiman, and the Dean is Professor S.P. Ambesh.

In 1997, SGPGI was among the first government hospitals in India to implement the Oracle-based HIS system. In 2019 the HIS was updated to be fully integrated with the PAX and telemedicine network.
